An unplanned portfolio review launched my creative career, leading to an internship at Visionaire with founders Stephen Gan, James Kaliardos, and Cecilia Dean. This opportunity quickly evolved as I became Visionaire’s first employee, helping transition the company from a founders’ apartment to a bustling Soho office while building a team of art directors, graphic designers, and producers. Visionaire’s unique publishing model—each limited-edition issue focused on a single theme and sponsored by one brand—enabled high-concept experimentation. I had the privilege of collaborating with visionary artists like Hedi Slimane, David Bowie, and Peter Saville. Each issue emerged as a product of innovative print formats and fabrication techniques, merging fashion and art. Behind the scenes, I provided structure and leadership, shepherding the creative process from concept to completion.
